We try to analyze why Dell Streak 5 and 7 fail in the market which We think could happen because the impact of mobile tech stuff competition is very tight. We always admire Dell Inc to be one of major great brands in desktop PC, monitors, corporate servers, notebooks & netbooks, networking stuff, great ultrabooks & Their amazing entertainment gaming laptop, Alienware. We use some of Their product & still satisfied by Dell quality product until now. So it should be pretty easy to Them to design, to create & to produce such high quality mobile tech stuff like smartphones & tablet PC. Nonetheless We really get shocked on news why Dell Streak 5 and Dell Streak 7 fail & get offline in market so soon?

You saw what We saw, right? Really pretty impressive tech spec from this Dell Streak 5 in era 2010. For a small factor form in this small 5”, 480x800 pixels is really deep with equipped screen like gorilla glass display. You need extra memory, They already give 16GB internal & micro SD external. Internet speed was on good speed depend on Your internet broadband provider. WiFi also acceptable We think although not on 802.11n class. Camera was great at that year 2010 with capability to record 720p after upgrading to Eclair or Froyo OS. Yes, Dell Streak 5 still on Android Donut / 1.6 version, so it really needs to be upgrade to better Android OS version. The rest of it, Dell Streak 5 processor & battery are more than enough for this tabletphones 5” form factor. Again We just wonder, why Dell Streak 5 fails?
 
Some particular reason why Dell Streak 5 fails as We think of are, Dell late action to upgrade & give Froyo update files to Their Dell Streak 5 users ; until November 2011, Dell still late to give any update Android v2.3 to Their Dell Streak 5 user ; other competitor mobile tech stuff comes with greater tech spec which We count it natural in this IT World business trends ; Their late action to satisfy Their candidate buyer (maybe needs 5-6 months period to wait Their official launched product) or simply We say They really late to pay attention over customer satisfaction IT World business mindset. When This product comes on first, We saw great potential like We saw on new breed of tabletphones hence remember that Our customer needs Our attention better.

On March – April 2011, Samsung Inc already delivers Their Samsung Galaxy Tab with Android 3.0 Honeycomb ; Dell Streak 7 screen only reach 480x800 that should be on higher resolution & higher ppi ; Samsung gives 1080p video & 8MP primary / 2MP secondary camera ; Samsung Galaxy Tab gives more pretty & sharp screen color ; Samsung give 6780mAh which pretty huge capacity for tablet PC & that simply answering Our question, why Dell Streak 7 fail to go in mobile tech market spot also.
 
When We are dealing in IT World business marketplace, especially in this mobile tech business, Our customer satisfaction, availability to give any upgrade stuff & ability to follow the speed of new tech development come in the positions that isn't negotiable.
