SOPA PIPA Bill, Case against Internet Freedom

One of the hottest internet topic on last 2 (two) weeks are SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) & PIPA (Protect Intellectual Property Act) case. This issues first bring by US Senates committee due regard that from this bill would establish a system for taking down websites that the Justice Department determines to be dedicated to copyright infringement. The copyright owner would be able to commence a legal action against any site they deem to have "only limited purpose or use other than infringement," and the copyright owner would be allowed to demand that search engines, social networking sites and domain name services block access to the targeted site. It would also make unauthorized web streaming of copyrighted content a felony with a possible penalty up to five years in prison. This bill combines two separate Senate bills -- S.968 and S.978 -- into one big House bill. SOPA & PIPA.

This US Congress SOPA bill been accepted by various different response from all of IT World community so far but mostly boil down on 2 (two) major response, Supporter side & Opponent side. So far some of biggest supporter of this SOPA bill are around MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) ; Screen Actors Guild ; NBC Universal ; Ford Motor Company ; Merck ; Universal Music Group Inc. ; Pfizer ; Xerox Corporation ; Walmart ; Estee Lauder Companies ; CBS ; Adidas ; Bose ; MLB ; Warner Music ; Nike ; Taylor Music ; Timberland ; 3M ; Disney ; NFL and other quite much great company with opposed by this SOPA PIPA Bill are, Boing Boing ; Disqus ; GoDaddy ; Bloomberg ; Google ; Yahoo ; Twitter ; Facebook ; AOL ; Netscape ; Mozilla ; Tumblr ; Ebay ; Reddit ; Microsoft ; Wikipedia ; Wordpress ; Kaspersky ; Linkedin ; PayPal ; and other great IT Company.

Our position would be cross examined side as We feel that such of information like news or something not against copyright actually should be let it go free. In Our web page We never put any download link upon paid apps which should be paid because We respect on whomever do great hard work to make this computer apps thing on a better standard like MacOS or Windows OS or even on certain application like Garage Band or Microsoft Office Suites. But if the software is really on freeware mode, then We put it as We always cross examined that Our action not against copyright infringement action. But in SOPA or PIPA bill We found something that We need to clarify the position first.

SOPA PIPA Bill #01 concerns. On what certain basis that something could be name or defined as act of piracy? For example in any of certain basis major company whom support SOPA PIPA Bill would like to do Their own advertising, We have right to know if Their advertising is true and legit as They present Their product. Because We are afraid that freedom of information being held by multinational company without any of counter truth information from other side.

SOPA PIPA Bill #02 concerns. For sure things related on movie, theater, paid software and apps, any serial television broadcasting and cable related or pay per view services on sport, music and entertainment industries are officially legitimated by Law & Justice. We have to respect the content creators and artist or the inventor for against such of piracy in stealing Their right but if SOPA PIPA bill then goes abroad from that certain area to other field like information and public knowledge, well, pleased don't be surprised if someday kind of important information that should be free, it ended up on paid service also. That would be a certain thing to discuss in SOPA PIPA Bill especially to open any points that are deliberately and purposedly obscured its meaning.

SOPA PIPA Bill #03 concerns. Somehow We might think that any kind of censorship could be as IT World double edged sword. In certain area of information regarding any paid things like music or books or entertainment games, We mean on media thing, that would likely open any kind of innovation also. That's actually really hard to avoid because We personally respect and admire Anonymus Hacker Community as They try to make any balanced position over too demanding power from ultra multinational corporate in Our daily activity.

SOPA PIPA Bill #04 concerns. If the US Congress are allowing justice authority to do any kind of legal action against certain web based on copyright infringement, without due process, that would be actually against freedom right also. Everybody have right chance to explain, to oppose and to clarify Their legal position without any hindrance. Not also mentioning H.R.3261 law penalty on 5 (five) years like kind is over excess paranoid action, against. This SOPA PIPA Bills could easily been abused my most major multinational corporate to swipe away Their challenging candidate to bring any great product or innovation stuff with fair price.

SOPA PIPA Bill #05 concerns. We really don't like the idea that SOPA PIPA Bill someday would tend to drive away any kind of thought freedom different that any kind of major side like what's already happened in Renaissance Era when some certain of scientist could not speak or do Their invention freely because They need to follow every explained thing from government which at that time controlled by Church. That would soon happens in unilateral action of SOPA PIPA Bill that We afraid would only backed up by largest multinational corporate which only to dominate this world and make sure Their step don't have any kind of equivalent comparison on other side.

In every problem lies the opportunity to solve especially if We think on greater good case but in any harm conduct of any freedom right, that only would led this IT World community on chaos act. And that We sure hope so that SOPA PIPA Bill gonna be delivered wisely maybe on any improvement of the point that may harm any internet freedom of knowledge and if that viewpoint could not happen, how about if We just swipe away SOPA PIPA Bill and make it a new Bill that would embrace win win solution on both side?
