After We already tell story of Microsoft & put it on Number 5 (five) to be part of of Top 5 Most Influential IT Company 2011, We simply say IT World news maker in around 2011, on number 4 (four) position is belong to Samsung Inc. Quite surprising but there's nothing to be wondered at, when We see together what Samsung does to regain this position.
Maybe beside Apple, Samsung already done perfectly well to design, to create & produce 3 (three) hottest IT mobile tech musketeers, smartphones (Samsung Galaxy smartphones series) ; tablet PC (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2nd edition in Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 – 8.9 – 7.0+) and finally Samsung newest ultrabooks in Samsung series 9 which We already cover in battle between MacBook Air vs Samsung series 9. and if that just enough, hence there's a new Samsung amazing product force Us to make new kind of breed in mobile tech definition, introducing Samsung Galaxy Note as one new breed of tabletphones. Perhaps other IT Company like Acer, ASUS & Dell maybe done the same but still not good enough if We compare with Samsung successful product positioning in mobile tech market acceptance, especially in year 2011. Samsung really has the right more than enough to be part of Most Influential IT Company 2011.
In last few years, what Samsung did in IT World business really shows Samsung great effort & finally Their hard work already paid off. What They did in IT World business already overcome Their Asian competitor like Acer, Their closest competitor, LG, ASUS & other Asian big giant company, Sony Inc. Since in June 2010, when Samsung launches Their first successful corner stone, Samsung Galaxy S series, seems success by success always approached Samsung lap. That success journey definitely makes Samsung put Their spot as one of Most Influential IT Company 2011.
We have to know key person behind Samsung great success is Mr. Yoon Woo Lee, Samsung great CEO & leader with also don't forget Omar Khan, former Samsung CTO, man behind Samsung Galaxy SII & Samsung Galaxy Tab which assert Samsung dominance market in smartphone & one of major market leader in tablet PC market. And now, Samsung again must facing Apple in ultrabooks battle market toward Apple MacBook Air. (see Our article in MacBook Air vs Samsung Series 9). Are Mr Yoon Woo Lee & Mr Omar Khan already succeed to bring Samsung to be Most Influential IT Company this year? Let bear with Us a little bit longer.
One of key point We believe that boost Samsung great success, make Them, Most Influential IT Company is when They decide to work as a teamwork with Google to market Android OS, now fastest mobile OS market growing in all around the globe. Both of Them did really great actually & deliver win-win cooperation between 2 (two) of giant IT Company. But of course Google Android OS would be nothing if Samsung himself not put any hard effort in industrial design, hardware boost improvement (key point over Samsung great success), Android OS & finally Samsung major distribution line all over the world which already built long time ago when Samsung already been one of great electronics & home appliances company.
One thing that maybe needs resolution over Samsung successful steps for now is Their fight with Apple Inc which preoccupy quite a long time in mobile phone patent lawsuit in some countries. Though Google helps Samsung which actually Google needs also to help himself, this case still needs attention & of course gonna affect Their market sale in some countries. This exhaustive mobile phone patent lawsuit actually getting hotter when Google buy Motorola and now using Motorola as weapon to kick back Apple in several issues and We believe this is maybe part of Google strategy so Apple would now sign any paper agreement stop undermining Google Android OS & Samsung market sale. January 6th, 2011, Samsung announces Samsung first 4G for Samsung smartphones & Samsung Galaxy Tab
May 11st, 2011, Samsung & Google announce World 1st Chromebook, Samsung series 5.
June 2nd, 2011, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10,1 World's thinnest mobile tablet at that time, makes official landing in U.S. Market.
August 31th, 2011, Samsung new series 7 laptops as to offer powerful & fast performance in compact & slim factors.
September 1st, 2011, Samsung introduces new slate PC series 7 in slim, lightweight & highly compact form factor.
October 3rd, 2011, Samsung New Series 7 all in one PC offers powerful computing package.
In closing of year 2011 not in a long days again, finally Samsung Galaxy SII won Phone of The Year 2011 award by TechRadar & T3 Magazine, also won Mobile Choice Consumer Award 2011 with of course followed by Samsung big smile beats Apple iPhone4 out of it. Unfortunately in Tablet of The Year 2011, again from T3 Magazine, Apple holds the award with Their great iPad2 and beat Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 out of it. Actually Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 still couldn't beat RIM Blackberry Playbook & Motorola Xoom but for Us, Samsung already makes really great success leap in IT World business only in 18 months since Samsung announced Their legendary product, Samsung Galaxy S Smartphone.
Now, with upcoming new mobile OS unicorn, Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5, Samsung doesn't need long time to decide that They also invite Microsoft to sign great cooperation & this would help Samsung side to get over Google if Google after Their great acquisition with Motorola would get rid of Samsung. Although that plan gonna sound ridicule now, seeing Samsung great successful market acceptance but never be so sure about what's gonna happen tomorrow in uncertain mobile tech business rapidly. Let see if Samsung & Microsoft cooperation gonna be Samsung next golden egg in mobile tech business which come in Samsung Focus smartphones series.
