On July-September 2011 business period, as reported by Data Strategy Analytics, Samsung has been reported managed to ship more than 20 millions smartphone, put Samsung in market leader, beat Apple & Nokia in mobile tech war zone marketplace. Android popularity combined with Samsung’s willpower & tenacity to produce many kind of smartphone from simple, middle until high spec was believed behind Samsung’s success step. And also wrote this man’s name with bold, Samsung CEO, Mr. Yoon Woo Lee, Man behind Samsung’s success.
 

Mostly people always remembered of Omar Khan whom is former Samsung’s CTO & has been recognized as man behind success of Galaxy line smartphone & Galaxy Tab then He goes to Citigroup. While ago, Samsung was still on Korean brand not global brand like Sony’s case that was Japan’s brand long time ago but Sony already goes global brand maybe more than a decade. So, what already Man behind Samsung’s success do to change that?
 
Mr. Yoon-Woo Lee was born in April 26th, 1946, graduated with B.S.E.E College of Engineering Degree from Seoul National University. In 1968, He starts His career in display device business then soon goes to semiconductor department in 1996. He’s been Samsung member board of director since 1988, got promoted to be Vice Chairman of Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology in 2004. His career goes up as promoted again to be Samsung Chief Technology Officer in 2005 then in 2008, Mr. Yoon Woo Lee serves as Vice Chairman & CEO Samsung Electronics globally. This Man behind Samsung’s success really struggling under tread of a professional career.
 
I could consider Mr. Yoon Woo Lee in same holder position like Steve Jobs role in Samsung as They come from technical background. Mr. Lee’s leadership and in-depth technology expertise as Man behind Samsung’s success have helped build Samsung into one of world’s largest electronics company. He also has won many award being successful science business-man & chairman. He’s on 16th position as Most Powerful People in Wireless below 15th, Mike Lazaridis & Jim Balsillie, co Founder & co CEO Research in Motion Blackberry. What a great man is He, huh?
